Want to play college sports and have what it takes to be amongst the top 5% of athletes. Most student-athletes like yourself utilize recruitment services to help gain valuable spots on a college roster.
The main benefit of opting to utilize a college recruiting service is entering the recruiting process more confident with a solid understanding of what is expected on both sides of the spectrum. It’s our job to provide you with the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to have a successful recruiting process. We teach our athletes how to talk to coaches, how to leverage offers, how to better position themselves, and ultimately how to maximize their recruiting potential.
We offer our student-athletes access to over 20,000 college coaches. It’s our job to help both the college and the athlete find the best fit for them. It’s important to note that there are hundreds of options when it comes to finding a recruiting service, each offering something different. It’s important to do your due diligence and find the best fit for you, just like you would with a college program. Our relationship with our athlete usually lasts the entirety of the college career. If someones going to be involved in your recruitment for 5+ years, it’s important that you have a good relationship with them.
The primary benefit of going into the college recruitment process with assistance is being able to feel much more confident about it. Understanding exactly what the process is like on both sides of the spectrum helps both players and coaches find the best fits possible. Athletes learn how to talk to coaches, how to present their best selves. Many sports recruiting services also provide extensive networks of athletes and coaches to help both sides find the best fits possible.
Note that several college recruiting services aid those looking to navigate this process. Although they are all similar in that they look to help you find a good match, how they go about doing so can vary significantly. For example, some focus on helping participants in a single sport. Conversely, other recruiting services provide assistance for athletes in every college sport.
Benefits of a college recruiting service
One of the main benefits that a recruiting service provides is the ability to be seen by thousands of college coaches despite your geographical location. We give all our student-athletes exposure to over 20,000 college coaches, allowing coaches the ease of access to access your athletic resume and contact information to begin that initial important conversation. Some coaches will consider hundreds or, in some cases, thousands of athletes, so it is important to ensure that you are also being considered by these athletic recruiters and that you stand out, which is where we come in. We help our athletes continue to drive that interest forward, helping them create a relationship and ultimately generate those offers.
When using a recruitment service, ensure you are using one that helps you with your academic requirements. If you are considering NCAA schools, not only must you meet the minimum standards that the NCAA has, but you may need to meet other standards as well. For example, some schools have higher academic standards than the NCAA does. This is particularly true for Ivy League institutions.
Regardless of the minimum academic standards that exist for the NCAA as a whole and for individual schools that you are considering, you do want to surpass those as much as possible. Doing so will help you fit into the school’s culture academically and helps you be more recruitable. The less the coach believes that he or she needs to be concerned about you adapting to the academic standards of that university, the more apt you are to be recruited.
