Your grades suck.
Do you know what coaches love more than anything? A player they know isn’t an academic problem liability. Being a great athlete will not be enough to get onto a college roster. Combine being a solid athlete with great academics and you have a recipe for success. Coaches love knowing they don’t have to worry about someone failing their classes and becoming ineligible.
Your highlight video is a mess.
Highlight videos are a coaches first impression of you. So having a 3-minute feature of you in slow motion, high-fiving your teammates, and shooting free throws isn’t going to do you any favours. Cut out the nonsense and get to the point. Coaches don’t want to watch that stuff!
