Florida Southern is a private college located in Lakeland, a city situated in central Florida between Orlando and Tampa. The Princeton Review has named Florida Southern one of the top colleges in the nation and #1 “most beautiful” in Florida in the 2021 edition of its best colleges guidebook. The city of Lakeland is also home to the Lakeland Magic, the G-League affiliate of the NBA’s Orlando Magic.

Florida Southern offers a wide range of undergraduate majors and pre-professional programs in nursing, business, and education as well as post-graduate programs. On-campus residence halls are also available.

The Florida Southern Mocs compete at the NCAA Division 2 level. Team colors are Red White and Blue with the athletics department at Florida Southern offering a variety of men’s and women’s sports including Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Cross-Country, Golf, Lacrosse, Soccer, and Swimming, Tennis, Track, and Volleyball.

Across all sports the college boasts a proud winning tradition, having achieved 30 team NCAA National Championships and over 25 individual NCAA National Championships.
